To prevent warping and cracking that are characteristic of natural materials such as wood, we at Karimoku let the timber dry naturally over a period of three to six months. The timber then undergoes a process of artificial desiccation and seasoning to produce wood materials with excellent quality fit for furniture making. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Karimoku's high-quality furniture depends on this system of producing materials based on its advanced drying technology.
